What is your educational background?

I have a BS from Kansas State University, and a Master's degrees in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University.

What other experiences, or staff development has prepared you for inclusion?.
I have also been a preschool teacher and I am a parent.

What is your job role?
I am a physical therapist. I work on gross motor skills.

What is your role regarding the inclusive component of the program?
I support the staff for gross motor skills, help with seating and positioning, and provide suggestions to change activity to incorporate goals and objectives.

How has your role changed or have you adapted your role as it relates to the inclusive program?
My role began in an inclusive program.

What were your biggest concerns about participating in an inclusive program?
Providing activities specific to each child with special needs.

What were your experiences related to these concerns once inclusive services were implemented?
Targeting activities within each group to serve the individual child takes planning and follow through in the classroom. The needs of the individual child can be met.

What do you see as the benefits of moving toward inclusive services?
Carryout through the day, child is not singled out, and other children learn about differences in people.
