10:30 Individual time

After circle time this site has centers time. Centeres time consists of computer, reading, arts and crafts, kitchen center, manipulative table, and trucks and blocks. The children move in and out of centers as they choose. The special education staff utilize this time as individual time. Sometimes we set up a center ourselves and sometimes we follow the children as they go from center to center. Following the child's lead has taken practice but it allows us to really observe the child and get to know them. Knowing just when to jump in takes practice.
