How did you make the decision to have your child participate in the program?
I liked the idea of the inclusion program and day care all in one place.

How have you been able to give input into how your child's needs are met?
When I call the center and when I participate in the IFSP planning.

Who are the ongoing participants on your child's IEP team?
classroom teachers, special education teacher, speech language pathologist and myself

How are you communicated with on a daily or weekly basis?
by phone or sending information home

How has the program benefited your child?
He tries to communicate more by signing and words.

Does your child have a special friend?
no, he likes and plays with everyone.

What advice would you give to other parents in placing their children in inclusive programs?
I would advise them to do it.

To what extent do you feel involved in the overall program?
I'm involved in everything.

How do you feel your child is benefiting from the inclusive aspect of the program?
I think he will learn to pick up on what others are saying.

Have you had any concerns? If so, how have these concerns been addressed?
I had concerns about his hearing and they had his hearing checked.
