Example Situation:
Sallys preschool classroom is located next door to Pams special education preschool classroom. When Sallys students see Pams students they stare and seem very fearful of them. Sally is very interested in helping her students become more comfortable around Pams students. Sally and Pam are very good friends and would like to plan some activities together with both classes. Sally has found the book We Can Do It! in the school library and thinks it will help her students become more comfortable and understanding of Pams students. After talking it over with the families in her classroom, Pam, and several other members of the elementary school, Sally decides to use the Images and Encounters Profile (Blaska & Lynch, 1992) to evaluate this book.
